DIRECTIONS, PARKING, ETC.
 

PARKING:  The 2008 San Diego Black Film Festival is located at downtown's Horton Plaza Mall.  Horton Plaza Westfield shopping mall is located at 4th & E Street or Broadway & 4th Avenue.  United Artists Theatre is located on the 4th and 5th floor levels.  Note: Horton Plaza offers three hours free parking with validation.  Validation is free.  Simply insert your parking ticket in any of the various parking validation kiosks  located throughout Horton Plaza.  Caution: Each minute after three hours is very expensive.  Consider arriving early and seeking out free parking if you plan on attending the festival longer than three hours.   Because downtown can be hectic for parking especially on Friday and Saturday nights, consider taking the trolley  or bus.

 
DRIVING: Take I-94 West, to downtown; I-5 South to downtown; I-5 North to downtown; or 163 South to downtown.  To park, head west on F Street in downtown (F Street runs west only).  F Street will run directly into the Horton Plaza parking Garage.  Park at any level.  Then take the elevator or walk into the mall from the level you parked.     

WALKING:  The entrance to the San Diego Black Film Festival at Horton Plaza is on E Street at 4th.  Take the escalator up. Make an immediate left.  Then walk four steps,  or
take the elevator to the 4th floor.  If you take the elevator,
the door will open at the box office.
